KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., December 19, 2016 -- CardConnect® (NASDAQ:CCN), a leader in payment processing, today announced the beta release of Bolt P2PE, its new cloud-based API terminal integration solution. Bolt P2PE allows software companies to integrate their applications with PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) and EMV devices for card-present transactions.
The new solution from CardConnect is compatible with all operating systems, browsers and frameworks. Instead of relying on legacy software development kits (SDK), device integrations are achieved through standard endpoints in CardConnect’s Gateway API. Integrated applications then have the ability to communicate wirelessly, via an Internet connection, with CardConnect devices instantly.
“This is a highly-anticipated product rollout for us,” said Jeff Shanahan, Chief Executive Officer and President of CardConnect. “With Bolt, CardConnect becomes the first to offer technology organizations the complete integrated payment processing package - consisting of merchant acquiring, card-present device APIs and card-not-present APIs.”
A full release of the product is slated for January 2017. To be notified when the offering is available, visit cardconnect.com/bolt.
