CardConnect strives to help employees maintain a healthy work-life balance, and it shows. Our Kansas City office was recently awarded a Silver certification as part of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Workplace Wellness program, an initiative called Healthy KC.
The group, founded in 2014, works toward improving the wellbeing of its communities, inspired by research of existing wellness programs and how they measure up to peer cities. With the shared objective of creating a healthier Kansas City, the Workplace Wellness action team helps KC area companies create a healthier workplace environment for their teams based on four factors: nutrition, physical fitness, tobacco cessation and mindfulness.
Among the recent initiatives put in place at CardConnect’s Kansas City office is a program that provides employees healthy and portioned catered lunches from Eat Fit Go each Monday. Employees also have access to healthy snacks from SnackNation, and fresh produce delivered by Door To Door once each week. The team even has access to a gym in the office building, and a variety of other services and events like in-office massages and health fairs.
Kansas City is home to many of CardConnect’s valued employees, and together they’re creating a healthy KC. Keep up the good work!
