  • Software Test Engineer

    The Software Test Engineer (STE) role is central to the business and technology mission of CardConnect. Specifically, the STE will design, implement, execute and report on tests that exercise all aspects of CardConnect software during development projects and prior to implementation. It is expected that these tests will include considerable automation of Web Services (JSON/REST, SOAP) that can be integrated into the overall build and deployment process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review requirements and other project documentation for completeness and testability given project scope and timeline
    • Develop, implement and execute appropriate tests within established project schedules so that an understanding of deliverable quality can be established
    • Contribute to the overall team automation approach by integrating tests into ‘lights out’ execution that is integrated into the build and deployment of software products
    • Communicate and document testing progress, results and other relevant information regarding the testing of systems and products to peers, leaders and product development teams
    • Maintain testing and other relevant project-related documentation in response to the ongoing improvement and evolution of products over time

    The Business Analyst operates as part of a CardConnect software engineering team to manage and support team inputs and outputs regarding design, development, testing, delivery, and support of software and technology products. The Analyst will manage and Support internal team projects from start to finish. They will support all aspects of the development process from design to product delivery.

    CardConnect seeks an organized, detail-oriented individual to help create, manage and improve documentation on its continually expanding technology products. This documentation includes the likes of user guides, APIs and release notes, along with the management of informational portals geared towards software developers and sales partners.   • Site Reliability Engineer

    CardConnect’s infrastructure team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help design and build out our tools and platforms, while streamlining the production infrastructure operations. These tools include automation, CI/CD, dashboards and analysis tools, monitoring, etc.

    The focus will be around maintaining and improving consistency, automating everything possible, figuring out better ways to monitor the infrastructure and business applications, and exploring feasibility of upcoming technologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as a key contributor in forming the team’s technical strategy and aligning the team and stakeholders with it
    • Initiate large projects with complex architecture, breaking them down to the right logical components so that other’s engineers can be utilized & contribute effectively
    • Work frequently with other teams to coordinate major changes to cross-system architectures, influencing upstream or downstream for the most efficient solutions
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to propose features that solve recurring patterns of customer complaints

    CardConnect is seeking a User Experience Researcher to research and communicate the voice of the customer to drive our roadmap priorities and ensure the successful implementation of those projects in user’s hands.
